About Us

This is our family (The Walkers), the people that make it happen. We own a 300 acre vegetable and grain farm (Walker Bros, Inc) which has been in the family since the 1840's. In the early 1970's we became involved with Rutgers University and their asparagus breeding program. In the late 1980's we were licensed by Rutgers as the Exclusive Seed Producer for all of the Jersey Male Hybrid asparagus varieties (Jersey Asparagus Farms, Inc). Today we work with asparagus growers worldwide.

In August of 2003 we purchased the marketing and production rights for the Esparrago Asparagus Salsa and Asparagus Guacamole (Cedar Run Farms, LLC). Our plans are to use our own fresh asparagus spears when producing the salsa and guacamole.

We know what hard work, quality and service means. There have been many 14 hour days, seven days a week spent in the fields and offices. We pride ourselves on our products, customer satisfaction and getting the job done right.
